I have had psoriasis since I was 13 – I am now 29. My psoriasis predominantly affects my scalp – occasionally I will have a flare-up on the arms or legs – but I have always had psoriasis on the scalp and recently it had been pretty severe. I have been on steroid treatments prescribed by dermatologists since the age of 13 with little to moderate success. The steroids were always topical and hard to apply to the scalp through the hair – they actually suggested I shave my head at one point to get the psoriasis under control. I have been using the Malibu Scalp Wellness Shampoo for three months now. I am very impressed by the results. I can’t say enough great things about this shampoo. It’s not messy, it’s not time consuming like the other treatments (just wash your hair like you normally would do) and it’s tremendously less expensive than the prescription medications – and no side effects of the steroids (thinning hair, mood swings, etc.). You have to be patient, but the results will amaze you. My scalp has not looked this normal since I was 12. For those of you out there like me, who had given up finding something non-prescription that would work (and not be a total pain to use) I highly recommend trying this. Give it a few months. Thanks.
